I surfed the net for weeks and looked at many houses and numerous villages. I don’t see how I could have been luckier in choosing Mas de Rosemarie in Joucas. The croissant reservation system is a wonderful bonus. We have all loved the Mas , swam in the pool, did salmon on the grill, consumed lovely rose, and enjoyed the perfect house and village.

We wish we had been quicker off the mark and managed to book two weeks. We can’t wait to come back. We’ve loved Gordes, Joucas, Menerbes, Roussillon, Goult. Fantastic meals at La Terrasse in Joucas and Le Carillon in Goult. Had great fun canoeing at Fontaine de Sorgue. We also just lazed by the pool; read; slept; and drank rose.

Thank you for the wonderful stay! The Little House was perfect for us all and the garden and pool were fantastic! We really appreciated the variety of trees in the garden, especially the oaks, our youngest daughter Clementine enjoyed collecting the acorns. We enjoyed lovely lunches at Café de la Poste and drinks and ice creams at La Terrasse in Joucas.

We have really enjoyed our time at the Little House. Here are the top four things from each member of the family: My parents thing was canoeing. All of us fitted into one canoe, a few small rapids and good fun. Lucy age 7 – my favourite bits were walking up to get our croissants in Joucas William age 8 – I liked Gordes on a Tuesday morning – the market was fab – go early for breakfast so you can park! Suzie – age 38 – my favourite village was Goult – lovely lunch at Café de la Poste and a stroll through the quiet streets

We had an absolutely amazing time in the Little House. It looked great in the photos but we were blown away when we got here by the grounds, peace, wine and scenery. What a wonderful place. We have had a wonderful visit here, exploring all the villages on our electric bikes! Two old for anything else. The Little House is superb – by far the best we’ve ever stayed in. Wish we had another week.
